We're delighted to inform you that you have met the criteria for the OptiJourney programme and can now take the next step in your journey towards a healthier you.

Now that you are able to start your OptiJourney we can give you a bit more information about the programme.

About the programme
The 12-week OptiJourney programme is broken into three easy to follow phases –
  • Weight Loss
  • Reintroduction to Food
  • Healthy Lifestyle Maintenance
Each phase is supported by our OptiJourney coaches who offer personalised support and advice. Much of that support will come through the OptiJourney app, where you'll receive reminders and be able contact the OptiJourney coaches.

What will I eat during the programme?
For the first eight weeks your diet will be closely managed through our range of carefully balanced Optifast® products. These provide a total diet replacement, giving you all the nutrition you need in a calorie controlled way. You'll be able to order Optifast® shakes, soups and bars via your pharmacist.

What happens next?
The programme is set to launch in your chosen Tesco pharmacy within the next month. Please call the pharmacist at your chosen store to book an appointment that is convenient to you. You can also take the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Your first appointment should last no longer than 30 minutes. After running through the screening questions and taking measurements the Pharmacist can sign you up and you can purchase an OptiJourney starter pack containing 3 days’ worth of products. The Pharmacist can also provide you access to the app.

What do I need to take along to my appointment?
Please find a link to the screening form for you to print off and complete ahead of your appointment to help save time on the day. If you don't have access to a printer, don't worry. Just arrive five minutes before your appointment time so you can fill the form out then.

Please also ensure that you take your most recent repeat prescription, or – if you don't have this – then you can take your medication packaging.
