We’ll start with the not-so-good news. We have recently been advised by our supplier that a small proportion of the Joe the Mug prizes are likely to have a defect which could cause the mug to crack when hot water is added. This was due to a heating fault during the manufacturing process.

We recommend that you stop using your mug immediately and dispose of it with your normal waste.

The good news! We’ve worked closely with our supplier to resolve the defect and have ordered new mugs of the same design as your existing Joe, though these will not be available for at least 90 days. In the meantime, our consumer care team will be writing to you by post with an update and a voucher for you to stock up on some KITKAT in preparation for the arrival of your new Joe the Mug.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding whilst we get your new Joe the mug to your doorstep.
